The following is a list of the best Christian bloggers and tweeters on the internet. No one comes close to the genius of these 10 internet stars!

Kyle Brekerson: There is currently no one on the face of the earth that does a better job explaining the complex interplay between gender and power than Kyle Brekerson. As the only boy in a house full of seven older sisters, Kyle has developed keen insight into what it truly means to be a woman. His Man I Feel Like a Woman three part post is a must read for any female who truly wants to understand what it’s like to be an oppressed woman.

Dorthy Myrtilian: It seems God has predestined Dorthy Myrtilian to be the internet’s preeminent reformed theologian. No one comes close to her clarity in unpacking the nuanced complexities of Calvinism. If you want to understand total depravity, then you must read her most controversial post, The Myth of Keanu Reeves’ Free Will.

J. L. Rastinflair: If you want to truly understand what it means to facilitate a holistic missional community, then J.L. Rastinflair is the one to read. Rastinflair has spent his life carefully deconstructing the absurdities that are rooted in the institutional church. Some of my favorite Rastinflair posts are as follows: The Byzantine Bulletin, Sour Cream Cracker Communion, Not a Sir Man but a Sermon. Rastinflair’s unique perspective most likely comes from his commitment to live the past five years in a cardboard box with his wife and four children.

Sandy Lestern: When you think of Sandy Lestern, one word comes to mind: clarity! Sandy is the clearest Christian communicator on the internet. Unwilling to muddy the waters with Christian mumbo jumbo, Lestern tells it like it is. The following are just a few of my favorite Lestern Posts: A Phenomenological Approach to Soteriology, Eschatological Milk, Eradicating Unnecessary Circumlocution, and of course The Duck Dynastic Cycle.

Fern Storvult: No one does a better job of helping you capture your God-given life story than Fern Storvult. His Super Duper Happy Every Day blog and accompanying conferences have encouraged millions to be happy no matter the circumstances. Besides being a great blogger, he is also an excellent banjo player, a skill he learned while lost in the remote Georgia wilderness for an undetermined amount of time. This hilarious story and others can be found in his Deliverance from Deliverance memoir. No one does a better job of keeping it real and real happy than Fern Storvult.

Pastor John Immanuel Thomas Calvin: Two years ago Pastor John Immanuel Thomas Calvin planted a church in his woodshop. Now he has a congregation of 23,324 people. Even though he’s had tremendous success in ministry, Pastor John Immanuel Thomas Calvin has found a way to keep thing very real and authentic when he blogs. If you want to read posts from the most honest minister on the internet, then start following Pastor John Immanuel Thomas Calvin. Dr. Jule Sstersvenson: Although he speaks very little English and has never visited the United States, Dr. Jule Sstersvenson is the premier blogger on sustainable church growth and church health. His insights will guarantee church success in any context. This is best demonstrated in his 5 part post, The Drums Bin Too Loud and his church growth masterpiece You Need Ein Sign.

Timmy Tyler III: Although Timmy Tyler III is only a third grader, he truly has his pulse on the current state of the American church. If you follow his blog you will be kept up to date on the latest church trends and Minecraft upgrades. No one knows the church like Timmy!

Addie Rolgroph: If you want to know what is wrong with the church, then you need to start following Addie Rolgroph. The daughter of a circus clown chaplain, Addie is determined to lift the canvas off the big top mega church circus. Individuals disillusioned or hurt by the church love her posts, such as Don’t Pet the Tigers When They’re Eating, The Bearded Lady is a Dude, and What to Do While Waiting for Mark Driscoll to Do Something I Can Write About.

When I started this list, I promised 10 names. However, I just couldn’t find a tenth person to highlight. If you were searching for your name on this list, you are just going to have to try harder next year. Maybe do a few more Duck Dynasty or Miley Cyrus posts. Or just latch onto some crazy leader and respond to everything they say or do in the coming year. Just don’t make stuff up ☺
