So excited to finally hear you speak. Dug up old pair of earphones as I usually read from the computer not listen. But I really appreciate the way you speak of community as the community of God. When an individual is looking for a church that’s different from a believer who is already part of the Body of Christ seeking a local fellowship. I’ve been a believer more than twenty years and it’s just now that I am beginning to understand that community is not an option. It’s helpful when someone like you points out how the church is reflecting the culture in an unhealthy way, instead of being light and salt, instead of offering an alternative to a consumer, celebrity culture. But I trust the Lord to raise up people who are called to proclaim His word by the power of the Holy Spirit: as Jesus said, you don’t put new wine in old wineskins; the wine of the gospel requires us to die to our selfish selves that we may truly live kingdom lives: Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. keep up the good work!
